The Foundation
The Foundation is structured as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and as such, all contributions are considered tax deductible. The Foundation accepts donations from individuals, corporations, trusts and other foundations. We encourage all members to consider gifts to the Foundation when making charitable contributions, whether on an annual basis or as part of estate planning
Scholarship Requirements
Jeff Boese Memorial Scholarship Recipient's parent(s) must be employed by IGFA or IPFACA member company. This scholarship is offered to graduating high school senior only and any course of study is eligible.
Foster Scholarship
Recipient's parent(s) must be employed by IPFACA company and pursuing ag-related course of study. Offered to
graduating high school senior or returning undergraduate.
Foundation Scholarship
Recipient's parent(s) must be employed by IGFA or IPFACA company and pursuing ag-related course of study. Offered to
graduating high school senior or returning undergraduate.
We are very pleased to announce the recipients for the 2009 scholarships. They are:
T. Jeffrey Boese Memorial Scholarship - David Adam Garretson, son of Mark A. Garretson, Pendleton. He recently graduated Pendleton Heights High School and has been accepted into the Krannert School of Business Management at Purdue University.
Larry Foster Scholarship - Kelly K. Colbert, daughter of David and Tina Colbert, Tipton. Kelly attends Purdue University and studies in Ag Sales & Marketing.
Foundation Scholarship - Megan Schnur, daughter of Tom Schnur in Chrisney. She is attending Purdue University and is studying Biochemistry/Animal Science.
Congratulations to these fine young people and also to all of our candidates and best successes in the next chapter of your lives.
T. Jeffrey Boese Memorial Fund
The T. Jeffrey Boese Memorial Fund has been established following the death of T. Jeffrey Boese on December 11, 2002. Jeff served as the President of Indiana Grain and Executive Secretary for the Feed Assn., Indiana Plant Food and Ag Chemicals Assn., and Indiana Seed Trade Assn. for eighteen years. Jeff left Indiana in 1994 to serve as President and CEO of the California League of Food Processors. Jeff has left his mark on the agricultural communities of both states and will be sorely missed.
In remembrance of Jeff's contributions and friendships, please consider donating to the Memorial Fund to be used for scholarships and/or internships. All donations will be managed by the Indiana Agribusiness Foundation and will be tax deductible.
