Jim Goldman, CEO, Trava Security

Jim Goldman is the CEO and Co-Founder of Trava Security, Inc. - which simplifies holistic cyber risk management with automated vulnerability assessments, mitigation recommendations, and underwriting insight for the cyber insurance industry. Jim has over 30 years experience in cyber security and risk management. Jim served as Professor and Head of the Purdue Malware Lab in the Department of Computer & Information Technology at Purdue University where he founded the Network Engineering Technology program. He was the first VP of Information Security at ExactTarget, later acquired by Salesforce. At Salesforce, Jim held various executive positions culminating in his assignment to build the global Security Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance team for all of Salesforce globally.

Jim is a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) with advanced training in cyber forensics and malware reverse engineering. He served as a Task Force Officer detailed to the FBI Cyber Crime Task Force, serving on both national security and criminal cyber squads. He is an internationally published author with market leading textbooks in data communications and networking.

 

Special Agent Joseph Chaney, FBI

Joseph L. Chaney is a Special Agent (SA) with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Indianapolis Field Office. SA Chaney entered the FBI in 1997 and has investigated Violent Crimes, Terrorism, and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) matters. SA Chaney was assigned to the Chicago Field Office from 1998-2009 and transferred to the Indianapolis Field Office in 2009.  SA Chaney is currently assigned as the Indianapolis Field Office Private Sector Coordinator and Evidence Response Team Senior Team Leader. SA Chaney is a graduate of Indiana University and served in the Indiana Army National Guard.

 

J.D. Henry, Cybersecurity Advisor, Region 5
Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)

J.D. Henry serves as a Cybersecurity Advisor within the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). He directly supports the agency’s mission of strengthening the security and resilience of the nation's critical infrastructure. J.D.’s roles involve coordinating cyber preparedness, risk mitigation, incident response, and providing cyber security resources to the nation’s critical infrastructure sectors and state, local, tribal, and territorial government entities.

Additionally, he is still currently serving as a Cyberspace Effects Operations Officer in the United States Air Force Reserves and is currently assigned to the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer at the Pentagon.
