Agribusiness Council of Indiana Presents Lifetime Achievement Award to Sonny Beck

On Tuesday, September 1, Agribusiness Council of Indiana presented its inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award to Sonny Beck, CEO of Beck’s Hybrids, which under Beck’s leadership has become the largest family-owned retail seed company in the United States.

The award, voted upon by ACI’s board of directors, recognizes significant and enduring contributions to Indiana agribusiness.

“I can think of no one who is more deserving of the inaugural ACI Lifetime Achievement Award than Sonny Beck,” said Amy Cornell, ACI president. “His business philosophy emphasizes quality, service and is based on a commitment to the well-being of the American farmer. ACI, its board and our members truly appreciate all Sonny has done on behalf of Indiana agribusiness. He sets the bar high in all areas of faith, family and farming.”
