ACI President Amy Cornell on the Implementation of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement

ACI President Amy Cornell on the implementation of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA):

“ACI is grateful to President Trump, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for their efforts to ensure that North American markets remain open and fair.

“We look forward to the implementation of the USMCA, which is a win for agriculture, industry and the millions of hard-working men and women who do the hard work that feeds not only Americans, but the world. Canada and Mexico are our two largest agricultural trading partners, and the USMCA puts American workers and industry in a position to be competitive on a global stage. We have no doubt that USMCA implementation will benefit U.S. agriculture and the communities whose livelihoods rely on American agriculture and industry.”
