Mark your calendar for the second session of our 2020 Women of Indiana Agribusiness seminar series! This session will feature a two-hour panel discussion on the topic of Overcoming the Fear of Failure.
Featuring:

Courtney Kingery, Indiana Corn & Soy
Courtney Kingery became CEO of the Indiana Soybean Alliance and the Indiana Corn Marketing Council in October of 2019.  In leading the state's corn and soybean checkoff programs, her focus is on building domestic and global demand for corn and soybeans, funding practical research projects that benefit production agriculture, and educating both farmers and consumers about the benefits of farm products.  


Courtney brings a broad level of experience and expertise from the grain industry that is of great value to Indiana corn and soybean checkoff program.  She has executive management experience as she serverd as Global Director of Health and Wellness Innovation for Tate and Lyle in Chicago.  Earlier in her career, she was a grain trader and marketing director for oilseeds and food ingredients for ADM.  Courtney's family has a farm in White County, Indiana.  She graduated from Kutztown University with a Masters of Business Administration and Hanover College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.  
Isabella Chism, Indiana Farm Bureau
Isabella Chism of Galveston is the Second Vice President of Indiana Farm Bureau and also serves on the IFB board of directors and its affiliated companies, including Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance.  She is a member of the executive committee and chairs the State Women's Leadership Committee.  
She and her husband, Kent, farm in Howard County, raising corn, soybeans, and sweet corn.  They have three grown children, all of who are married with children.  
Isabella ran a successful in-home business, managing more than 40 people. Other leadership positions include chairman of the Howard County Extension Board, leader of a community Bible study of more than 220 women, Christian education director and board member of her church, adult Bible study leader for more than 23 years, lay director of the Great Banquet Ministry, Northwestern School Corp. strategic planning committee, and chair of the schoolbook adoption committee.

In addition, she was appointed by the Howard County Board of Commissioners to serve on the Citizens Committee on Consolidation of Howard County and was then elected chairman by her fellow committee members. In 2012, she was selected by then-Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman to join an agriculture delegation to China.
Tracie Egger, AgReliant Genetics
Dr. Tracie Egger is the Leadership Training Specialist at AgReliant Genetics in Westfield, IN.  She develops and facilitates leadership training across the organization including within the AgriGold and LG Seeds brands.  While also designing and implementing curriculum, she play a critical role in supporting the continued development of all people managers in sales, research, production and leadership roles.  Additionally, she has been instrumental in leading strategy around the AgReliant company culture and is the President of the AgReliant Women's Network.

Tracie began her academic path at Lake Land College, Mattoon, IL where she was a member of their livestock judging team. After transferring to Purdue University, she received her bachelor’s degree in agricultural communication in 1995. She earned her master’s degree in agricultural and extension education from Oklahoma State University and then a doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Agricultural Education from Purdue University. Tracie began her career with Purdue Agriculture in 1997 as a County Extension Educator in Posey County, Indiana doing both Agriculture/Natural Resources and 4-H/Youth Development programming. She was promoted to extension specialist in 2000. In 2001, she was named an Assistant Director in the Office of Academic Programs in Agriculture holding roles as pre-vet academic advisor, scholarship coordinator, director of career services and most recently she served as the director of undergraduate recruitment and the agriculture ambassador program coordinator.
