Navigating to a "New Normal"

When we (finally) run out of “unprecedented” or “once-in-a-lifetime challenges” we will need to adapt to the “new normal.”  Bobby Fredrick from NGFA will share how ACI members can navigate through today’s challenges to position themselves for future successes.

Speaker:

Bobby Frederick
Director of Legislative Affairs, National Grain and Feed Association

A native of Champaign, Ill., Frederick currently serves as the director of legislative affairs and public policy for the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA). In this capacity, Frederick serves as the Association’s principal policy advocate on Capitol Hill, and is closely involved in developing and executing the association’s overall legislative strategy.

Frederick focuses on agricultural biotechnology issues, and serves as principal staff liaison to NGFA’s Biotechnology Committee. He also leads NGFA’s staff efforts on inland waterway and port issues, and serves as principal staff liaison to the Waterborne Commerce Committee.

Prior to joining the team at NGFA, Frederick served for more than 11 years on Capitol Hill, most recently as legislative director for Rep. Rodney Davis, R-Ill., who serves on the House Agriculture and House Transportation and Infrastructure Committees. He also was a fellow at the John C. Stennis Center for Public Service Leadership in Washington.
